"When I first heard Pamela Parker's Is It Real I knew I had to have Evolutionary Process. Pamela Parker sounds like the love child of Ann Wilson and Axle Rose all the while looking like the daughter of Slash, Eric McFadden plays the guitar like he's being possessed by Jimi Hendrix and Carlos Santana at the same time. There's only one real word to describe this band and this album....Smooth. This is the kind of music you want to roll over, light a cigarette and ask was it good for you, too? There is no such thing as a bad song on this album, it's the kind you can put in your car and go on a road trip on, drive with the top down and looking damn cool doing it. I'm a music director of a radio station and i feel that Pamela Parker's Evolutionary Process is my greatest discovery this year and if you're smart it'll be yours 2 "

Pamela Parker has spent the last 2 years crafting her latest release in the city of her dreams, San Francisco, CA. She recorded and mixed her album at the legendary Hyde Street Studios in Studio A. The album features original classic rock for the new millennium. “In an age where humdrum music is still crowding the airwaves, Pamela Parker and her band have brought relevance and new life to classic rock and the music industry with this new release, Evolutionary Process,” Jack Dylan. The album also just debuted at #1 on 101.7FM CHLY radio in Nanaimo, BC on Vancouver Island in Canada, and is holding strong.
The music is very classic sounding guitar driven mid 70’s style rock (two lead guitars, bass, drums, powerful vocals, and occasional keyboards) with a heavy emphasis on songwriting, arrangement, and performance. Though the template of this band is firmly planted in mid 70’s rock (taking their cues from Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Thin Lizzy and the like) their sound is totally fresh and original. Pamela’s incredible and powerful voice is often described as a cross between Robert Plant and Janis Joplin. She soars high like Plant but has just the right touch of gravel and growl ala Janis and when needed she sings smooth as silk. Armed with her trusty Gibson SG, Marshall half-stack and ultra talented band mates, Parker is set to reinvigorate the music world by offering up hot slabs of fresh rock & roll.
